Integration Interface

Displays, controls, and cable connections inside a mobile platform.
Physical, mounting, and cable interfaces in an integrated configuration.

Capability

The Integration Interface is the set of physical, electrical, video, network, and mounting points through which a subsystem connects to a mobile platform and interacts with other components.

It defines connection, installation, maintenance, and component-replacement logic. It helps avoid incompatible one-off solutions and account for future configuration changes.

Integration context

The interface combines the Sensor Layer, Passive Acoustic Situational Awareness, Video Distribution Architecture, Driver Vision Enhancement (DVE), power, cable routes, mounting points, and service access.

Platform requirements

Design considers available power, installation space, crew work, hatches, antennas, armor, external structures, and maintainability.
