Integration Design defines how sensors, displays, cables, power, integration interfaces, and mounting elements are combined into a system for a specific platform and task.
The design is based on the operational requirement and the results of a Platform Audit.
Work sequence
- Analyze the operational requirement and platform constraints.
- Define the subsystem set.
- Plan sensor and display placement.
- Plan cable and mounting infrastructure.
- Define the integration interface.
- Assess installation, operation, and service risks.
- Prepare the integration concept and implementation plan.
Result
The result may include an integration concept, subsystem set, mounting logic, interface description, implementation plan, and constraint list. Documentation scope depends on the agreed work scope.
