Platform Adaptation Hardware

Platform-adaptation kit elements before installation.

Capability

Platform Adaptation Hardware comprises the physical elements used to integrate sensors, displays, cables, protective enclosures, and other subsystems into a mobile platform.

This direction covers mounting logic, mechanical protection, cable infrastructure, and service access. Configuration is defined by the platform and integrated system, not by a list of individual brackets.

Integration context

Platform adaptation connects vehicle-platform architecture, the Integration Interface, the Sensor Layer, and Video Distribution Architecture.

Platform requirements

Design considers platform geometry and mounting points, visibility, vibration loads, hatches, external structures, cable routes, crew work, service points, and potential future modernization.
