Purpose
HDCS-9.2 is a baseline camera system that supports the driver of a vehicle or specialized platform.
The system uses forward and rear cameras with images shown on a display. It is intended to help the driver observe viewing zones and maneuver where direct visibility is limited.
OTU adapts the layout, mounting elements and connection of HDCS-9.2 to the construction of a specific vehicle.
Baseline configuration
The documented HDCS-9.2 configuration includes:
- two Full HD 1080p cameras;
- a 9-inch IPS monitor;
- forward and rear video channels;
- camera infrared illumination for low-light use;
- video recording to a memory card;
- 9–36 V DC power supply.
These specifications apply to the documented configuration. The supplied components and specifications of a particular execution are confirmed before integration.
HDCS-9.2 is not the passive thermal ATRI TINDS system. Its low-light mode uses a different imaging approach.
HDCS-ARMOR — platform adaptation
HDCS-ARMOR is an engineered integration of HDCS-9.2 in which OTU adapts camera installation to a wheeled or tracked platform.
Work may include:
- defining viewing zones and camera locations;
- designing mounting brackets;
- adapting or making protective housings;
- choosing cable routes and connection points;
- installing components;
- checking the display and operation of the agreed configuration.
HDCS-ARMOR is neither a separate baseline camera nor a universal series kit. The protective assemblies depend on the platform.
Integration process
Preparation starts with a platform audit to establish the layout, mounting approach and connection scheme.
Integration design brings together the cameras, display, power supply, cabling and structural constraints of the vehicle.
Installation and commissioning are performed within the agreed scope.
Documented application
OTU adapted HDCS-9.2 for a Renault chassis fuel support vehicle, including the preparation of mounting and protective elements and installation of the system.
This case documents a specific scope of completed work. It does not establish completed operational testing or universal compatibility with other platforms.
