Platform Audit

A bracket-mounted camera installed on the outer surface of a mobile platform.
An installed mounting assembly in platform context.

Service role

A Platform Audit is an initial assessment of a mobile platform’s technical, mounting, electrical, and operational constraints before subsystem integration.

The audit creates a factual design basis that considers platform geometry, power, cable routes, crew workstations, and service access.

Work sequence

  1. Collect baseline information on the platform and operational task.
  2. Review accessible areas and mounting points.
  3. Assess power and cable routes.
  4. Analyze sensor and display locations.
  5. Identify installation, operational, and service constraints.
  6. Prepare an initial conclusion and next steps.

Result

The result may include a description of constraints, an initial integration recommendation, a risk list, required next actions, and a service-access assessment. The exact deliverables are agreed for each task.

The next stage is Integration Design.
