Lifecycle Support

A set of painted mounting parts arranged on a work surface.
A mounting-parts set for platform adaptation.

Service role

Lifecycle Support provides support for an integrated system after installation and commissioning.

The direction covers diagnostics, repair or component replacement, configuration updates, change documentation, and assessment of further modernization.

Work sequence

  1. Register the service need.
  2. Perform initial diagnostics.
  3. Identify the fault or constraint.
  4. Agree repair, replacement, or update.
  5. Perform work and verify the system.
  6. Record the result and update configuration documentation.

Result

Depending on the task, the result may include a service record, repair or replacement recommendation, updated configuration details, an assessment of component reuse, and modernization proposals.

Lifecycle Support also complements Fleet-Readiness Infrastructure where compatibility and configuration state must be controlled across several platforms.
